A taste of what's inside...
Week One: Context & Overview
The context of the Lord’s Prayer is that Jesus is instructing His disciples in what and
how to pray. What a precious gift to His people! .
Week Two: The Name
In Scripture, a person’s name represents his or her character. When we see God’s name mentioned in Scripture, we see a reference not to a title but to the fullness of God’s person. So when we are instructed to call upon the name of the Lord, it means more than just crying out His name; it means calling upon the fullness of His person.
Week Three: Give us this Day our Daily Bread
Just a quick word here about “daily bread.” This refers to our daily necessities, such as food, water, shelter, sleep, love, acceptance, etc. While we can throw in many things we’d “like” to have in life, Jesus is teaching us to rely on God for the necessities that keep us alive and healthy while also knowing that He withholds no good thing from those who trust in Him (Psalm 84:11-12, James 1:17).
Week Four: But Deliver us from Evil
Every believer is at war. Our war is not with people, but with ideologies (ultimately, rooted in demonic lies) that exalt themselves against Christ. We are in a good vs. evil battle. Knowing this, Jesus taught us to pray for deliverance against evil and the evil one.

Who are we?
Hi! We are Arabah Joy (from arabahjoy.com) and Jen Evangelista (from graceincolor.com) and we both have decades of ministry experience. Collectively, we've adopted internationally, lived in 5 different countries, gone through medical school, put both of our husbands through seminary, planted churches, worked as professionals, started our own businesses, served as military wives, and homeschooled kids.
