What is Biblical hospitality? Biblical hospitality means to receive, love on, and welcome guests and strangers without seeking a reward. Biblical hospitality is being kind and generous with our time and resources, for the purpose of bringing glory to God and showing others His love.
People crave belonging. They long to feel welcomed and know that they are not a burden. When we embrace our calling to show hospitality to strangers, to our brothers and sisters in Christ, and to non-believers alike, we mirror to them what God has done for us.
In this study, God welcomes us (Romans 15:7), calls us friends (John 15:15), and gives us access to Himself (Romans 5:1-2). When we choose to live a life of hospitality, we put these truths on display for everyone to see.

Week 1: Day 1 - What is Hospitality?
Biblical hospitality means that we welcome and show love to guests and strangers without looking for a reward. Biblical hospitality is being kind and generous with our time and resources, for the purpose of bringing glory to God and showing His love to other people. When Christians show hospitality, we are pointing to the way in which the Lord has welcomed us.
Week 2: Day 1 - Lydia
When thinking about the discipline of hospitality, it is helpful to look at the specific examples in Scripture in which people showed hospitality. While the Bible is ultimately about God, our spiritual forefathers often exemplified how we should live throughout the scriptures.
Week 3: Day 1 - Hospitality as a Means for Growing Christian Community
Christians need a Christ-centered community. As we learned from Hebrews 10:24-25, we need people who will encourage us in the Lord and spur us on towards good deeds and love.
Week 4: Day 1 - Hospitality Outside of the Home
While hospitality does have a lot to do with inviting people into your home, there’s more to it than that. Some people don’t have the space to host. Some people live with family or friends for a season and don’t have a place of their own. But not having a home to host in does not prevent Christians from showing hospitality. God showed us hospitality through welcoming us to Himself, accepting us when we were broken, giving His time, and preparing room for us.

Who are we?
Hi! We are Arabah Joy (from arabahjoy.com) and Jen Evangelista (from graceincolor.com) and we both have decades of ministry experience.
